Instructor Courses

Fullscope Training offers Instructor Level courses that will prepare you to become a NRA Certified Firearms Instructor. There are many new shooters that need quality instructors to provide them training. Are you ready to help the firearms community become better educated?

NOTE: These are not basic level courses, you must already be an experienced shooter to enroll in these courses.

Also note that Fullscope Training LLC does not certify instructors. These courses are taught using curriculum from the National Rifle Association and Instructor Candidates that successfully pass the course may apply for certification through the NRA.

We offer these courses periodically in open enrollment formats, or in closed special request formats. There is a four person minimum for all Instructor level courses. Contact us if you would like to schedule a closed course.

Instructor candidates must complete the entire workshop, which is typically three days.

Day 1: Take the basic course (All instructor course are based on the basic curriculum and Instructor Candidates must be very familiar with the content). If you have already completed the basic course previously you may contact training@fullscopetraining.com to see if you are required to take it again.

Day 2: Basic Instructor Training. This course goes over basic instructor methodologies. If you have had BIT in the last two years you may contact training@fullscopetraining.com to see if you need to repeat it.

Day 3: Instructor Level Course. Candidates teach the material in an evaluated environment, including written testing, practical skills tests, and student presentations.

Qualification Requirements:

Each live fire course has a qualification requirement and a practical skills evaluation. Please review these carefully in your specific course. Failure to pass these prior to course, or any graded portion of the course, will result in you being dropped from the course with no refund issued.
